Daily Update

Florida gyms received the "go-ahead" from state officials to resume business at a limited capacity starting on Monday, 5/18.

This is a huge announcement and one many of us have been eagerly awaiting. Our road ahead is still going to be challenging as we have obstacles yet to overcome, but this is a great start!

Our team will be finalizing plans this weekend to get our doors open on Monday. We will open in a limited capacity and will maintain, at the minimum, all the state issued guidelines. As a team we will decide our new protocols and pass them along to you. We would rather be safe than sorry and we do plan to reopen slowly and in phases.

Lifestyle Tips

If you are reading this and you are going back to your gym on Monday, I encourage you to be smart. At Lead, we will do our best to ramp our clients back up into a training rhythm that is challenging and effective. But 'too much, too soon' could lead to injury and other problems. So go easy when you get back. Have realistic expectations. And most importantly, have fun.

Sometime Friday afternoon the guidelines for fitness facilities will be posted to the Governor's website. In the meantime, if you missed his announcement today, that link is here.

Last But Not Least...

“We sense that ‘normal’ isn’t coming back, that we are being born into a new normal: a new kind of society, a new relationship to the earth, a new experience of being human." - Charles Eisenstein
